Cyberpanel Unable to Send emails to gmail – IPv6 sending guidelines

Setting up another email address for a different domain and the email wasn’t getting received.  I looked in the cyberpanel email log and found this message:

Our system has detected that 550-5.7.1 this message does not meet IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR 550-5.7.1 records and authentication. Please review 550-5.7.1

I went in to cyberpanel, and selected to “list emails” and selected the new domain.  There was a message there which said:

SSL for email is not configured properly, you may get Self-Signed error on mail clients such as Outlook and Thunderbird. More details here.

And it linked to this page.

There was also a link labeled “Fix Now” which I clicked and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Update 7/1/2022 – I was getting similar but slightly different error messages showing up and I no longer have the option to just click “fix now”, so I went through some other troubleshooting and seem to have it fixed.  At least for now.  Here was my solution to emails not being forwarded to gmail accounts through cyberpanel.
